I see some references elsewhere mentioning various network problems when moving from Jessie to Stretch, especially tutorials no longer working.

What is causing the "Device or resource busy" error and how do I fix it?īackground - I am trying to set up the Babel mesh network using this script. (I am using Raspberry Pi Zero W and Raspian Stretch)Īlso, placing both commands on one line separated by a semicolon does not fix the problem. So I guess that since the fix in 2013 something has changed. I tried the "sudo service ifplugd stop" fix but get "Failed to stop rvice: Unit rvice not loaded." I also get the "Device or resource busy" error to the "sudo iwconfig wlan0 mode Ad-Hoc" command.
